Company History
Special Greetings opened on Russell Street on April 5, 1989. Decades have gone by, fads have changed and the store has been on top of all of them. More importantly, the store and it’s staff have always been here to help you pick that perfect gift and we intend to be here for many years to come, to continue to do just that! Thank you so much for your support and patronage over the years.
Meet The Team
Katharine Coleman – After working for Glenda for a few years, the conversation began about taking the store over when she was ready to retire. This came to pass in 2022, and Katharine is excited to keep the amazing customer service going to all who grace her door, looking for the perfect gift!
Glenda Bak – Katharine is grateful to have Glenda interested in putting in some time at the the store. She can usually be found here on Thursday afternoons, so if it’s been a while, come in and say ‘hi’!
New Ownership
On April 1, 2022, Katharine Coleman took over ownership of Special Greetings Card & Gift Shop from the previous owner Glenda Bak.
Katharine takes great pride in continuing to operate the store as it has always been with no major changes to ensure shoppers get the same experience they’ve always known.
